Golden Valley County is a county located in western North Dakota. It is bordered by McKenzie, Billings and Stark counties. The county seat is Beach, ND. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,461 people.

The area was officially opened for settlement in 1910 and the county was organized in 1913.
